TASTING NOTES

The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for this wine were grown in the vineyards of the beautiful Napa Valley. Generous sunshine during the day and cooler temperatures at night allow for the perfect ripening of these precious berries. Weather conditions capture the signature of this variety at its best — Dark red fruits on the nose, velvet tannins, concentration and a long finish.

Fruit for our Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from vineyards between Highway 29 and Silverado Trail in the Napa Valley AVA. The grapes are harvested at night and immediately sorted at the winery. The fruit is fermented in stainless steel, close-top tanks. There is a short cold soak before the fermentation is allowed to begin. When fermentation is complete, the wine is drained from the tank and skins are gently pressed. This wine is aged for eighteen months in French oak barrels.
